DreamStation Pro and DreamStation Pro Auto CPAP Machine

18/4/2016

We are very pleased to announce that we now stock the DreamStation Pro and DreamStation Pro Auto CPAP Machines.

The DreamStation Pro from Philips Respironics is one of the latest advanced CPAP machines.

With an in-built heated humidifier and tubing, all in a modernised design, it is made for ease of use in mind. With advanced in-built features, the machine offers users the ability to monitor therapy effectiveness and adapts on its own to ensure the best possible treatment is given to each individual user.

The CPAP machine includes SmartRamp technology, C-Flex+ as well as many additional features including Bluetooth connectivity, a mask fit- check tool, regular reminders when a filter change is needed, a user-friendly design with a colourful display, and an optional heated humidifier. Healthcare professionals can also use the convenient auto-trial mode when issuing a DreamStation Pro to a first-time CPAP patient. In this mode the device functions as an automatic machine for 30 days before switching to fixed pressure based on the data collected during the trial period. This allows the more cost-effective Pro model to be issued without requiring the patient to try a separate automatic device first.

The DreamStation Auto CPAP Machine is similar, although like the name suggests, it automatically adjusts the pressure for the user. Although, this can be changed if specific pressure settings are required.

The DreamStation range of CPAP machines are notably smaller and lighter than the System One predecessors, weighing around 15% less than their equivalents. This makes it arguably the best combination of size, features and performance available.
